Here's something I've been following for a number of years. It's a grassroots effort to end the state Income Tax in Massachusetts. Why would I care about such a thing, since I'm a resident of North Carolina? Well, I don't appreciate any government taking money by force - especially when they perform social engineering with the rules and deductions. A successful grassroots effort to end the Income Tax in one state (especially Taxachusetts) would hopefully motivate other people to use their voting rights to get rid of coercive taxes in their own state.
